Involvement of the eyebrows, eyelashes, body hair, beard and/or nails is common among patients with alopecia areata (AA), adding further disease complexity and emotional burden for those affected. Baricitinib (BARI) is the first oral Janus kinase inhibitor approved for the treatment of severe AA in adults. This study assessed treatment persistence, effectiveness and patient satisfaction with baricitinib among patients with AA presenting involvement of these special areas.
