There is a current need for plant-based oral nutritional supplement (pbONS) options.
Previous evidence shows that pbONS in addition to achieving good compliance have a significant nutritional effect on malnourished patients.
However, there is no evidence on their impact compared to ONS based on ingredients from animal sources (sONS).
We show preliminary results from a randomized clinical trial (RCT) comparing both formulas.
