This study aimed to determine if there are benefits of treatment simplification in terms of safety and tolerability to help in the decision-making in routine clinical practice and to provide the best therapeutic option for patients.

This research outlines that there is still insufficient information to claim that simplifying from 3DR or 4DR to 2DR in PLWH improves safety and tolerability in the medium term.
